Facilities: The practice is set within the heart of a lovely community, with modern facilities including digital X-rays, dental X-rays, a new ultrasound machine, Idexx laboratory suite, dedicated cat and dog wards, and a K Laser machine.
Team :Currently have 3 vets in the practice, one of whom is close to completing a surgical certificate. There are 5 fabulous RVNs, and currently one Student Nurse, very ably assisted by 2 ACAs and 3 reception staff.
Role: They are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. The role is a mix of consults and operating, with the option to be flexible for days and hours worked, to allow the best for the candidate and the practice. Good communication skills are valued, with the ability to do routine neuters, lump removals, dental, etc seen as essential.
Hours: They offer flexible working patterns that flex with you and your lifestyle. Whether you are looking to flex your rota hours to balance the school holidays, fix to navigate the school runs or just looking to strike that balance between home and work life. They can offer flexibility that actually works for you. The weekends are generally one in three, with only Saturday mornings required. There is no OOH as this is covered by VetsNow.
Applicant Requirements: They are looking for an MRCVS with at least 3 years experience post qualification, who enjoys the variety of general practice work and wants to get the full benefit of the range of talents and support available in our team.
Salary : The salary for this role is up to £75,000 (FTE) depending on experience.
