Job summary FULL TIME PERMANENT POST 37.5 HOURS A WEEKAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified, highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the busy Cellular Pathology team at Stockport's Pathology Department.The Department handles in excess of 21,000 surgical histology requests and 1600 non-gynaecological specimens per year. Main duties of the job Candidates will be required to have Cellular Pathology knowledge and experience along with excellent communication skills. You will be working alongside Medical Laboratory Assistants', Assistant Practitioners, Biomedical Scientists, Junior Medical staff and Consultant Pathologists. Following relevant training you will be expected to rotate through all sections of the laboratory (specimen dissection, specimen reception, main laboratory, administration and digital pathology.
