* Location: Hillingdon
* Contract: Temp to Perm
* Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Protocol Education are currently working with a school based in Hillingdon who are looking to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant working to support and care for Autism Spectrum Disorder students.
This is a great opportunity to work closely with primary or secondary school students where you will receive training and be responsible for the maintenance of the academic and social development of a mixed group of children. You will be working closely with classroom teachers, parents, carers and professionals to create a safe and nurturing school environment for students and impacting positive change in their daily lives.
This is a very rewarding role where we are looking for a candidate who is dedicated, enthusiastic and creative as this role will involve creative working and activities, such as painting, drawing, and singing.
Key responsibilities:
* Providing support to class teachers within the classroom
* Assisting children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
* Supporting pupils in and out of lessons (KS1 – KS5)
* Monitoring and recording interventions
* Setting targets for individuals to work towards
Must haves:
* Child workforce only DBS on the Update Service
* Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
