Are you an experienced Occupational Health Advisor looking for a new opportunity to join an in-house OH department? If so, we have the perfect position for you! Our client, a market-leading organisation based in the Chippenham area, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Advisor to join the team on a permanent contract working full-time hours between Monday - Friday.
As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining the health and wellbeing of the employees. Your duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Comprehensive health assessments and screenings for employees, including pre-employment assessments, fitness for work assessments, and health surveillance programs.
2. Absence management and workplace adjustments.
3. Working with HR and management teams to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
4. Deliver training and educational programs to raise awareness of health and well-being issues among employees.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records.
Requirements:
1. Degree in Occupational Health Nursing or equivalent qualification.
2. Registration with the NMC.
3. Proven experience working as an Occupational Health Advisor, preferably in a similar industry or environment.
4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with employees at all levels.
5. Sound decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills.
6. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary & Benefits:
1. Up to £46,000 per annum.
2. Ability to work 1 day at home.
3. 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
4. Sick pay (extends with length of service).
