Children Registered Manager

Our client is thrilled to announce the establishment of two new two- bedded homes specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and we're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dedicated Children's Registered Manager to lead the way!
As the Children’s Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding for children. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the homes, manage a dedicated team of support staff and foster positive relationships with children, families and professionals. Your leadership will play a crucial role in shaping the experiences and outcomes for the children in our care.
Requirements:
1. Relevant social care qualification ideally Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
2. Within the last five years, you have worked for at least two years in a position relevant to the residential care of children.
3. You have worked for at least one year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role.
4. OFSTED registration.
5. Proven experience managing EBD homes or similar settings.
6. Previously been a manager or a deputy looking to step up.
7. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including OFSTED standards and legislation relating to children’s care.
8. Strong leadership and communication skills.
9. Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and staff effectively.
Responsibilities:
10. Oversee the daily operation of the children’s residential home in accordance with the standards set up by OFSTED.
11. Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding and welfare for all children.
12. To foster a positive working environment, through training and supervision. To inspire, lead and manage a team of staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and support to promote professional development and to ensure the highest level of care is provided for our children.
13. Develop and implement personalised care plans that meet the individual needs of the children.
14. To work closely with external agencies, families, and professionals for comprehensive care.
15. Maintain all necessary records and documentation in compliance with regulations and company policies.
16. Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and take action to achieve continuous improvement.
17. Attend regular meetings and always represent the organisation.
