Join the Recovery Team and empower those whom wish to make changes in their behaviour to promote health and well-being through recovery from drugs and alcohol. This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients, and delivering outstanding care. No 2 days are the same in this challenging, yet rewarding and supportive environment. Hours: This is a part time role, 26 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Shifts will be between 08:00 - 17:00,. and we can be flexible on the shift pattern - we will discuss this with you at interview. Some of your duties will include: Managing a caseload of around 30 patients with varying needs, including substance misuse, mental health, trauma etc Deliver group interventions, aimed at addressing any active addiction concerns Carry out work on a 1-1 basis with patients, including therapeutic interventions and care planning Delivering outstanding care to psychosocial patients, seeking out, listening to, and acting on their feedback - ensuring that their care is personalised and tailored to the individual Providing a programme of psychosocial interventions and comprehensive assessments Provide information and advice on substance misuse, alcohol, smoking cession, blood borne viruses and safe sex practices Prepare patients for release and transfer If you are interested in career development, we have a wide range of opportunities for you to develop your skills and experience, which include both internal and external options for development and learning.
