As a Business Planner focusing on Load and Capacity in Lincoln, you will be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring that our production schedules are flawlessly completed. You will dive into updating SAP with the latest data, aligning it with our Master Load Plan to make sure everything runs like a well-oiled machine. Your day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analysing data to identify bottlenecks, and developing strategies to streamline processes. How You’ll Make an Impact
* Analyse Business Operations: Conduct regular assessments of current business operations to identify areas for improvement and forecast future needs based on market trends, historical data, and operational capacity.
* Monitor and Mitigate Risks: Identify potential risks impacting business operations using risk assessment tools, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks while maximising opportunities.
* Enhance Organisational Efficiency: Create and implement systems and procedures that improve efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational capabilities.
* Manage SAP Data Integrity: Oversee the accuracy and integrity of SAP data related to resources and operations to support effective planning and decision-making.
* Standardise Load & Capacity Tools: Standardise the Load & Capacity tool across the Planning & Control team, utilising SAP as the primary system, and facilitate training and adoption among team members.
* Challenge Planning Assumptions: Drive and evaluate planning assumptions to ensure they are realistic and aligned with business goals, while identifying risks and opportunities to inform strategic planning.
What You Bring
* SAP/ERP Systems Expertise: High level of knowledge and demonstrated experience in SAP/ERP systems within operational environments.
* Production Planning Proficiency: In-depth understanding of production planning and control tools and techniques, particularly in manufacturing and build environments.
* Effective Communication Skills: Ability to operate and communicate effectively at all levels within Planning & Control and other operational functions, showcasing strong interpersonal skills.
* Comprehensive Planning Skills: Proficient in load and capacity planning, inventory management, facility planning, budget management, and single-part planning across the organisation.
* Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the capability to prioritise tasks and take timely action based on data-driven insights.
* Leadership Experience: Proven hands-on experience as a planner in large, complex organisations, with expertise in Sales & Operations Planning, business planning, and inventory management across various functions.
