Your new organisation is a large manufacturing company with a global presence based in Bath whom are undertaking a number of large transformation programmes as the business goes through an exciting cycle of development. Your role will be an integral part of the Group IT function, working with the existing IT Operations team to help deliver a key cornerstone of this change.
Your role will be critical in the creation and implementation of processes across the IT Operations function.
* You will work with the existing members of the team to define the structure of the team, to implement processes around SLA's & KPI's along with Service Management and Cyber Security standards.
* You will also be responsible for rolling out these processes to the wider team globally and ensure everyone adheres to the same standards.
* Furthermore, you will be responsible for improving the technological capabilities of the team including upskilling and performance management.
* These duties will be enacted alongside assuring the team continue to deliver the day to day requirements of the organisation.
In order to succeed in this role, you must have been responsible for global teams as well as possessing clear, demonstrable experience of process improvement across large teams including the design and implementation of required processes and standards.
