Work Type: Temporary, initially for up to 6 months
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 (37 hours per week)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Role Overview
The Council is seeking a highly skilled Interim Commercial Transformation Manager to lead and deliver a transformational programme within our Leisure and Culture services. This role will focus on redesigning, restructuring, and governing a commercially sustainable and community-focused leisure and culture offer. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of these services, ensuring they meet both financial goals and community needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership:
o Lead the diagnostic, redesign, and implementation of a new operating model and staffing structure for Leisure and Culture services.
o Provide strategic direction to ensure the offer is robust, financially sustainable, and community-centric.
* Operational Oversight:
o Develop and execute a plan for delivering a traded Leisure and Culture service that is innovative and competitive.
o Optimize income streams and assess opportunities for new products, services, and operational efficiencies.
* Collaboration and Advisory:
o Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and Transformation Team, providing expert advice and strategic insights.
o Foster cross-departmental collaboration to deliver a seamless community experience.
