Job Summary:
Sophy Digbeth is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Weekend Nightlife Content Creator to capture the vibrant atmosphere of our Friday and Saturday night events. This role involves photographing event highlights, providing unedited b-roll video footage, and shooting unedited social media reels on a phone according to specific briefs. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be comfortable working in a lively late-night environment, and possess the ability to quickly deliver high-quality edited photos.
Responsibilities:
1. Attend Sophy Digbeth on Friday and Saturday nights for 10 hours across the weekend.
2. Capture high-quality photographs of the event atmosphere, attendees, and key moments.
3. Edit and deliver approximately 40 event photos in total over the weekend.
4. Record unedited b-roll video clips of the events. (1080p 60fps minimum)
5. Shoot unedited social media reels on a smartphone, adhering to individual briefs provided for each reel.
6. Ensure all content captured aligns with the Sophy Digbeth brand and aesthetic.
7. Maintain open communication with the management team regarding content requirements and delivery.
Requirements:
1. Ability to capture engaging and high-quality photographs in low-light conditions.
2. Familiarity with basic photo editing software and the ability to deliver edited images promptly.
3. Comfortable using a smartphone to shoot social media reel content.
4. Ability to follow specific briefs and adapt to the dynamic nature of nightlife events.
5. Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet weekend deadlines.
6. Professional and reliable demeanor.
7. Must be based in or able to easily commute to Birmingham, UK.
8. Must be available to work consistently on Friday and Saturday nights.
Preferred Skills:
1. Experience with social media trends and creating engaging content for platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
2. Basic understanding of video editing for social media.
