Job summary Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust are looking to recruit a new Assistant Director of Learning Disabilities and Autism for the Trust. Successful applicants will have a range of clinical and commissioning experience in the field of LDA with a proven track record of effective service delivery and system thinking. You will be able to work in partnership with a range of partners including the ICB, Local Authority and provider organisations to drive forward the transformation of LDA services in the county. This will include the attainment of the Trusts ambition to meet the transforming care agenda, bringing service users back into our community, improve the physical and mental health of LDA service users though LeDeR and annual health checks as well as developing in the gaps between existing services to ensure that LDA service users in our county receive a parity of care in the county. You will have a good understanding of Co-Production and will be able to demonstrate experience of transformation with the service users and carers voice at the heart of all you do. Main duties of the job o Relevant professional clinical knowledge gained through a degree or specialist training or equivalent experience. o Evidence of study or specialist training to Master's level (or relevant equivalent experience) o Evidence of management development through Continuous Professional Development and/or formal management courses o Wide up to date knowledge of national and local strategic direction and policy initiatives within the NHS and other public sector bodies, particularly in relation to the delivery of Older People's Mental Health services o Experience of managing multi-disciplinary clinical service and budget management.
