Job Opportunity: Senior Residential Support Worker,
Children's Home
Our client is a well-established organisation that is seeking an experienced and qualified candidate for the position of Team Leader in one of their children's residential homes. This role offers a very competitive salary, including benefits such as a quality bespoke training package and generous remuneration for sleep-in shifts. They specialise in supporting Children and Young People who have experienced early life trauma, neglect, or abuse and may display challenging behaviours.
Location: Colne
Salary: Up to £37,000, including sleep-in allowance

Main Duties:
* Ensure shifts are planned with Residential Support Workers.
* Safely manage all risks in line with company policies and procedures.
* Communicate effectively with the team regarding the plans for the day.
* Provide reports and documentation reflecting the progress of the young person using paperless systems and tools.
* Review the young people's care plans and other associated documentation.
Job Requirements:
* Provide positive parenting.
* Possess exceptional communication skills.
* Have a sound working knowledge of current legislation, e.g., Children's Homes Regulations 2015 (including quality standards).
* Be open-minded, empathetic, and professional in a calm manner.
Essential Requirements:
* Must have a full manual driving licence.
* Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
* Participate in further continuing professional development to support the needs of young people.
* Clear passion and desire to support children and young people.
* Active member of a progressive and committed team.
