We are currently looking for qualified and experienced tutors and mentors to provide support to school leavers aged 16+ with mentorship and core subjects of Maths, English, and Science, but predominantly life skills. Tuition is in place for students with EHCPs and a diagnosis of autism, so subjects would need to be tailored to the needs of the students.
The tuition aspect of the role requires the tutors to deliver the core subjects to the pupils, while the mentoring aspect requires trips to the local area, helping the young people integrate into the local community, CV writing, planning for the future, and life skills.
Due to the nature of the students we provide support to, applicants must have a background and strong understanding of SEN.
