Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is looking for an experienced and motivated Development Officer to work within its Alcohol & Drug Partnership (ADP) Support Team. This is a permanent post and provides an excellent opportunity to work as part of a team and support the ADP Lead Officer in taking forward the ADP activities in line with local and national strategic priorities.
The post holder will provide proactive support for the ADP Lead Officer including supporting the development, implementation and monitoring of ADP strategy and related documents. The post holder will be responsible for undertaking a range of evaluation activities and the collation of performance management information to inform the ADP activities.
The post holder will be required to work in partnership with key stakeholders and lead on specific workstreams in line with ADP needs and priorities, e.g., undertaking the thematic reviews of suspected drug-related deaths and near-fatal overdose.
This post requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to prioritise and work under your own initiative. Knowledge and understanding of national policies relating to alcohol and drugs, within the wider settings of health and social care, justice, homelessness, mental health, and community planning are essential.
