We proudly employ over 4000+ people - no matter what your experience, we have jobs for everyone.\n\nWe'd like you to join us as a Senior Staff Nurse (Mental Health) within our newly opening Neurobehavioral unit at our Nottingham Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in Nottingham.\n\nAt Nottingham Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre, we offer rehabilitation, care and support to people with a brain injury or other neurological condition.\nWe're committed to helping every person we support feel safe, happy, empowered enabling them to live the best life possible.\n\nWe provide a psychology led multi-disciplinary treatment model to deliver a high quality, specialist service for people who have a neuro disability or acquired brain injury.\n\nExperience and/or knowledge in Positive Behavioral Support' advantageous\n Experience in Neurorehabilitation advantageous\n\nWhat you'll be working:\n\nWe're flexible, so you'll work a total 38.5 hours per week, days & nights on a rota basis. \n\nWhat you'll be doing:\n\nActing as Primary Nurse, taking overall responsibility for the nursing input residents receive, through nursing assessments and care planning.\n\nContributing towards MDT working, risk assessment management and a programme of on-going clinical improvement.\n\nProviding written nursing reports for a range of statutory and clinical review processes.\n\nWork according to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and relevant professional guidelines as a named nurse or key worker for a defined group of patients.\n\nProvide clinical leadership to a designated nursing team and ensure the provision of high quality care.\n\nProvide a high quality individualised standard of care to a defined group of patients, relatives and carers.\n\nEnsure the effective supervision and development of staff.\n\nWork and act as a key member of the team, supporting each patient with achieving their planned outcomes.\n\nAct as the primary nurse in the assessment of needs and organising of care.\n\nTake charge of a designated clinical area.\n\nAdopt a flexible approach to hours of duty, in order to meet the needs of the service over a 24 hour period.\n\nWhat you'll have:\n\n A current NMC Pin registration (MENTAL HEALTH)\n A legal right to work in the U.K.\n Experience and/or knowledge in Positive Behavioral Support' advantageous\n Experience in Neurorehabilitation advantageous\n\nWe also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.
