About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented expert in Paid Search to join our team as a Paid Search & Ecommerce Integration/Business Director. This role is crucial in embedding ecommerce capabilities within our agency and driving the vision of our Search proposition for both the department and our clients. Key Responsibilities: Lead all Paid Search operations and support the Head of Paid Search in expanding ecommerce capabilities. Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance team productivity. Manage the output of a team of 30, ensuring high standards in search activation and due diligence. Report directly to the Head of Paid Search and indirectly to the COO/Head of Performance Integration. Skills & Attitudes: Extensive practical knowledge and experience in Paid Search. Strong interest in the ecommerce landscape. Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for driving efficiencies. Excellent communication skills and the ability to enforce standards. Goal-oriented with a focus on high-quality team output. Resilient, tenacious, and highly analytical. Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the Head of Paid Search to set strategic priorities for ecommerce. Drive behavior change through targeted training and development programs. Team Development and Engagement: Plan and oversee team learning and development. Develop training sessions and programs to enhance search and ecommerce capabilities. Operational Excellence: Design and implement an operating model that integrates ecommerce into daily operations. Establish feedback loops to adapt and evolve search and ecommerce strategies. Performance Management: Set metrics and targets for search and ecommerce performance. Monitor and report on initiatives, providing insights and recommendations. Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients. Present search and ecommerce strategies and performance updates to senior leadership and clients. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in ecommerce and paid search. Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance search and ecommerce capabilities.
