Job Description
We are looking for an Order Management Specialist to support our Order Management team with end-to-end order processing, related documentation, and data management. In this role, you’ll be able to learn more about how the logistics team functions within a global organization. Your main responsibilities include:
1. Ensure customer service and on-time supply performance is delivered by following Syngenta processes and system settings.
2. Follow daily and on-time Order Processing, Delivery creation including initiation of Master Data updates, Customer Profiles, and price agreements in SAP.
3. Pro-actively communicate with market and supply contacts to identify and correct issues in a timely fashion.
4. Develop skills and knowledge to support added value activities such as forecast acquisition projects, improvement work, logistics expertise, etc.
5. Effectively share information to the overall benefit of EAME Logistics and Order Management in Syngenta.
Qualifications And Required Experience
1. Degree or equivalent working experience in Business or Supply Chain.
2. Proven experience in a similar position, order management or commercial preferably in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
3. Cross-functional knowledge with emphasis on familiarity with Sales and Marketing (e.g. new product introductions, life-cycle management).
4. User knowledge of the SAP SD/MM module (O2C/D&C processes).
5. Fluency in English and additional European language knowledge is beneficial.
6. Proactive and can-do attitude with good problem-solving skills.
