Quality Assurance Administrator

* Pay rate: Starting at £14.00 PH
* Location: Derby.
* Hours of work: 14:00 – 22:00 (potential for morning shifts also soon)
* Duration: Ongoing
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Administrator to join our client’s team. We are thrilled to collaborate with our esteemed client, a leader in the aerospace sector. While candidates may not have direct experience in a similar role, our client values transferable skills and an open-minded approach. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, possess exceptional attention to detail, and demonstrate a methodical nature. This role will initially start on a day shift for training and induction purposes; however, the ongoing work will be on a 14:00 – 22:00 shift pattern. Full training will be given.

Role of a Quality Assurance Administrator
* Book in components ensuring customers' paperwork is in order.
* Inspect orders, jobs, and paperwork – good attention to detail required.
* Liaise with the Site Head of Quality over Quality/paperwork issues.
* Carry out contract review on customers' work.
* Raise job packs and route cards.
* Raise release notes/delivery notes.
* Inspect own work to identify trends & maintain quality standards.
* Maintain a tidy/safe working environment.
* Review of calibrations, surveys, consumables, for compliance.
* Take the initiative in carrying out Surveys and SAC checks.
Requirements of a Quality Assurance Administrator
You will need the following:
* Great attention to detail
* A methodical nature
* Experience working with different Microsoft packages including Excel.
* Previous experience working in an administration-heavy role is beneficial.
* Previous experience working closely to a factory/engineering environment is desirable yet not essential.
* The ability to work on your own as well as part of a team.
* The ability to prioritise workflow.
* A good understanding of basic math.
* The desire to learn about company processes.
* Previous experience using either production or warehouse management systems is desirable.
