Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer
Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 8am – 5pm - overtime after 42hrs + on call
Location: Sheffield with regional travel
Job Description
The Gas Engineer would be responsible for undertaking a mixture of minor installation and maintenance (PPMs and Reactive) of commercial boilers with some general fabric maintenance jobs.
You will be comfortable engaging with stakeholders in order to provide technical fault diagnostics where necessary.
The successful candidate will have valid Commercial Gas tickets and have worked on a reactive maintenance contract previously.
Responsibilities
1. Completing maintenance duties within set timeframes
2. Commercial combustion, heating and HVAC bias PPM, proactive and reactive works
3. Other types of building services maintenance to include fabric, HVAC, mechanical and related tasks
4. Providing callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota
5. Maintaining the cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops and storage areas
6. Undertaking new installations, major and minor repair works to clients heating systems
7. Diagnosing and repairing faults on systems and plant including basic electrical fault finding
Essential Qualifications/Skills
The successful candidate will have:
1. Previous reactive maintenance experience
2. Core Safety: COCN1
3. Commercial Gas Qualifications: TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1
4. Domestic gas qualifications (would be useful): CCN1, CENWAT1, CPA1, ICAE1.
5. Capable installation skills
6. UK – Driver’s License (no more than 6 points)
