The role

This role is unlike other sales roles; whilst it includes relationship management and the usual sales activity, we also need you to be technical. We’re looking for a superstar who can not only identify new prospects but can also answer technical questions on the implementation process.
You’ll be responsible for understanding new prospects' goals and focusing on delivery and partnerships. You’ll play a pivotal role in identifying growth opportunities, developing and implementing growth strategies and plans to achieve sustainable growth.
On a typical day you will be…
* Working with the head of growth and other relevant stakeholders to plan awareness-raising and lead generation activity.
* Using your experience, knowledge and analysis to translate insights into targeted strategies that resonate with our key audiences.
* Collaborating across internal departments (marketing, product etc) to align messaging, optimise launch timing, and measure the impact of each strategy to refine and improve our approach continuously.
* Owning the sales process, handling commercial negotiations and workshops including detailed product UI/API demos to ensure delivery against agreed sales targets.
* Utilising your excellent negotiation skills and strong relationship-building abilities to drive revenue growth.
* Working closely with our onboarding team to ensure delivery against the aligned project and commercial goals.
* Building relationships with potential partners within our ecosystem – whether distribution partners, technology partners or vendors.
* Representing Seccl at key industry events and webinars, providing strategic input to individual sales negotiations, tracking emerging market trends, and providing input on product development and pricing.
You’ll be successful if you …
* Have previous business development experience, including closing.
* Have deep knowledge of the advice and wealth management market.
* Have a track record of hitting sales targets.
* Are excited by analysing data and trends.
* Possess a strategic mindset.
* Have excellent communication skills with an ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external stakeholders.
* Are able to quickly understand and answer technical questions.
