Key Responsibilities: Bookeeping: Recording, organizing, and managing of financial transactions to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records for a business or organization. Payroll: Process weekly/monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely payments, as well as handling related tasks such as pensions, tax, and benefits. Sales Ledger: Manage and maintain the sales ledger, ensuring invoices are raised and payments are tracked and reconciled. Purchase Ledger: Oversee purchase ledger activities, including processing supplier invoices, managing payments, and reconciling accounts. Administration: Perform general office administration duties such as filing, correspondence, and maintaining financial records. Basic HR: Assist with HR-related tasks, including employee records, contracts, and handling basic queries regarding benefits or policies. Requirements: Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role. Strong knowledge of payroll processing and relevant legislation. Proficient in using accounting software Xero and QuickBooks Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic knowledge of HR processes is desirable.
