The Best Connection are proud to be recruiting for a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor for our established clients new Warehouse in Armley LS12
Main Focus of job
* Progressive Customer Support Services in the Office & in the Warehouse. Maintaining a safe working environment and maintaining our good customer service reputation.
Main tasks of job:
* Contributing to and leading the Warehouse effort. Taking responsibility for the Warehouse function and some Warehouse staff supervision.
* Maintaining a Safe & Tidy Warehouse and good housekeeping of Logistics services
* Effecting high standards of Customer Communication during all transactions of the business. Including regular liaison with colleagues at home and abroad and especially with customers and clients.
* Preparation of risk assessment Log Book for the tasks of the Warehouse. This is to include Fork Lift Truck Operations & Manoeuvring, Manual Handling of small and light loads. Operation of tools and/or plant at work in the warehouse.
* Ordering of Goods for stock from our Approved Suppliers including from our own Factory.
* Effect a high standard of Movement of Stock and Stock control. To keep Management informed by collating Monthly Stock Valuation and weekly Reports
* Handling and organising Goods-in & Goods-out effectively with safe loading/off-loading of vehicles in mind.
* Effecting and implementing good practice of our ERP System – SAGE as determined by the Directors. Moving to SAP
* Maintaining Continuity of the flow of customer orders by inputting, processing, acknowledging to the customer. Including controlling and tracking of the deliveries.
* Assisting with Commercial tasks. Preparation & production of UK price lists, special price lists and procedures. Applying/Setting of profit Margins with the approval of the Directors.
* Constructing a historical filing inventory of the pricing. Maintaining the protection, retrieval, transfer and disposal of all folders/records.
* Responsible Key Holder, for Opening up & Closing up the Building each Day as per the hours of business which are 08:30 – 17:00hrs. Monday to Thursday, Friday 08.30am to 15.00hrs
* .Adhering to all Company and Departmental Safety Procedures and Policies as indicated in the DEHN UK Ltd, Employee Handbook.
