The Role

As Centre Principal, you will ensure there is a responsive, engaging and high-quality curriculum provision that provides progression routes to further study and employment through innovative, engaging and outstanding delivery. You will be responsible for the achievement of the centre business plan in relation to curriculum, student recruitment, quality assurance, finance, people and corporate services.

Main Duties of the role (please see CV for full list)
1. Planning and Curriculum Development:
* Responsible for maintaining and developing innovative and challenging curriculum using up-to-date course design strategies.
* Developing teaching, assessment and learning practices to ensure sector leading learning experiences for all learners.
* Ensure the production of high-quality schemes of work across the curriculum area, monitoring their delivery and supervising assessment strategies.
* Oversee the tracking and monitoring of learner progress and reporting.
* To co-ordinate the IV/EV requirements of the curriculum and to work with the teams in
* order to ensure awarding body criteria and expectations are met.
