Position: BANK Ward Clerk
Location: The Harborne Hospital, Birmingham
Contract: Bank Contract
We’re looking for a BANK Ward Clerk to join our team based at The Harborne Hospital to provide a reception/administrative service to support the unit to deliver a high quality service to clients.
What you'll do:
1. Meet and greet patients, visitors, consultants and staff and deal with their enquiries in accordance with world class standards
2. Answer telephone enquiries, referring where appropriate
3. Make bookings for consultant appointments and clinical investigations
4. Register patients and enter charges on to computer system
5. Support and on some occasions work on other units as indicated in the absence of ward clerks
6. Provide administrative support to Unit Manager and Sisters
7. Take minutes, prepare minutes and agenda for Meetings
What you'll bring:
1. Previous admin experience within a healthcare setting
