We have an excellent opportunity for a female support worker to work alongside our client in Loughborough, Leicestershire.
Our client is a lady in her 30's who lives in her own home with her husband. She enjoys socialising, time with family, meals out and shopping, puzzles, crafts, cooking, and is a big fan of Harry Potter! Due to an acquired brain injury, she uses a wheelchair among having other support needs.
Due to the client's support needs and preference, the successful candidate will need to be female, have previous brain injury or complex needs experience, hold a full UK driving licence, and be comfortable driving a wheelchair accessible vehicle along with being motivated and driven to help our client engage with her interests.
Pay: £175 per shift weekdays, £230 per shift weekends.
Hours: 24 hours per week over two days (09:30 - 21:30 with sleep-ins)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Engaging with personalised routines inclusive of hoists.
2. Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
3. Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
4. Providing emotional support and companionship.
5. Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
6. Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
2. Ability to deal with challenging behaviours.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Flexibility to work the specified hours.

Training & Background Checks:
An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client, and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
