Role Title: Regional General Manager
Salary: circa £60,000 - £70,000 plus benefits
Location: Aberdeen
Our client is an entrepreneurial, rapidly growing Field Service business in the Facilities Management and Property Services sector. They are seeking to recruit a Regional General Manager to lead the effective and efficient delivery and organic growth of the company's operations in the Aberdeen area.
In this newly created role, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the company's growth ambitions within the UK. Additionally, in collaboration with the relevant support functions, they will champion and lead the transformation of the Business Unit’s technology infrastructure, positioning the business as a technology leader in its market.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Championing a culture of high performance & values whilst ensuring colleagues are motivated, engaged, trained, and equipped.
2. In conjunction with the Head of HR, resource planning for growth, recruiting talented new colleagues in a timely fashion, succession planning, and developing colleagues for their current and future roles.
3. Managing performance in alignment with culture and values.
4. Working closely with the Technical function to deliver services in the most environmentally responsible way.
5. Delivering outstanding customer service, leading to best-in-class customer satisfaction and retention rates.
6. Working closely with the Commercial function to implement sales & marketing strategies to promote customer engagement and achieve organic growth targets.
7. Seamlessly integrating the operations of new customers as the company grows.
8. Identifying potential acquisition targets and integrating the operations of new bolt-on acquisitions.
9. Deploying group policies, processes, technology, and services throughout the operational delivery organization to ensure consistent service quality and efficiency.
Candidate requirements:
1. A University or post-graduate degree or experience in lieu.
2. A valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
3. At least five years’ experience in relevant Field Service operational leadership roles in a fast growth environment.
4. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills – both written and verbal.
5. Effective leadership of diverse teams.
6. Championing and supporting the implementation of technology solutions in a diverse operating environment.
7. Proven experience in growing businesses organically.
8. Exceptional people skills to establish rapport and build relationships across all levels of the business.
9. Creative, dynamic, and highly commercial, with a modern and innovative mindset.
