Exciting Opportunity for a Contracts Engineer.
The Contracts Engineer will be the focal point within the business for the assigned parts contracts for our customers for all HTO-UK products. This includes working closely with the customer, operational colleagues, other team members and also our Sales & Projects Teams (which includes regional colleagues and agents), to manage all aspects of delivery of our spare parts contracts.
Responsible for managing general and informal customer and internal enquiries about their challenges and our product solutions, the role requires a highly flexible individual who can be responsive with a customer focused attitude ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. This includes proactively seeking ways to improve the processes and performance that will improve customer service and grow the business.

What will you do...
* Managing spares parts supply contracts from handover through to the end of our warranty obligations.
* Responsible for the pro-active management of the costs and project margin for the complete scope of supply in-house manufactured and bought-out equipment and / or services.
* Assess the order received and identify the full scope of supply.
* Liaise with design engineers and manufacturing areas to ensure full compliance with original design specification, customer specifications and delivery requirements.
* Working closely with our Supply Chain Team to issue enquiries and orders to suppliers for proprietary equipment.
* Working closely with Operational colleagues on the manufacture of in–house products.
* Working closely with colleagues in Quality Assurance to ensure the appropriate quality requirements are planned and achieved.
* Liaise with colleagues as appropriate to resolve any issues on contract conditions and financial requirements
* Manage the full technical and commercial information for all assigned contracts.
* Negotiation on issues with customers as appropriate and within levels of delegated authority.
* Actively seek opportunities to offer additional products and services that will add value to the customer.
* Diligence at all times in protecting the Company commercial and warranty liabilities.
What do you bring...
* Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, either already holding or working towards a HND or equivalent.
* Previous experience working in engineering or manufacturing.
* Good knowledge of similar products and the processes to manufacture them.
* Well organised with the ability to prioritise and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
* Previous experience either tendering or delivering similar solutions for customers is essential.
* Previous experience working with suppliers of mechanical, electrical and electronic products is desirable.
* Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office products, ERP and CRM systems.
* Excellent interpersonal communication and written skills.
* Good commercial acumen and taking balanced commercial risks where appropriate.
* Some knowledge and experience working with financial processes.
* Knowledge of export compliance requirements would be desirable.
* An eye for detail and working diligently to ensure activities are fully completed to conclusion
