Perth and Kinross Council are looking to appoint a Community Learning Assistant, who will focus on teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
The role will be part of a wider team that serves a diverse community by coordinating activities, teaching English, and working in partnership with other organisations. The post holder will also support people integrate into the community and access other learning and employment.
Skills & Experience Required
Ideal candidate will have a welcoming attitude towards speakers of other languages, be positive, creative and flexible. The candidate will have the ability to respond to individual learning goals and adapt to any changes that might occur in the learning environment.
The candidate will possess qualifications in teaching ESOL learners, professional knowledge, and experience of teaching in community settings.
* 6 days public holiday and an additional discretionary day
