Engineering Project Manager - Industrial Automation
Salary: £50,000 - £68,000 + Pension, Car Allowance

This role requires experience of automated machinery engineering and project management in an engineering environment.
The company has built an enviable track record in various industries establishing business relationships with some of the most demanding customers. Engineering Project Manager - The Role:
1. Build relationships with customers through good communication in meetings, presentations and documentation.
2. Technical Leadership and general management.
3. Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of all projects ensuring they are on time, to budget and meet agreed specifications.
4. Understand and report on all high-level business strategies within key accounts to the rest of the Senior Management team.
5. Identify and report on current / future operational challenges to the customer, to ensure that all issues are widely understood within the company.
6. Cultivating existing customers and repeat business through delivering technical projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
7. Help develop staff in technical, commercial and management skills.
8. First point of contact and manage all client issues.
9. Provide cost effective control solutions including bidding and reviews prior to submission.
Engineering Project Manager - The Person:
1. High calibre ambitious and self-starter, control and automation professional, capable of operating at high level within the company.
2. Have high intellect and desire to take an active role with the company management team and its future.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills.
4. Excellent Technical skills.
5. Strong commercial acumen.
6. Demonstrable track record in the successful delivery of cost effective projects encompassing control solutions within some of Food, Utilities, FMCG, Process, Materials Handling industries.
7. Excellent written and communication skills.
8. Must have proven experience of working with contracts particularly NEC 3&4.
9. The Project Manager must have a solid background of delivering technical automation projects with the ability to provide technical leadership including personnel management.
