Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and talented future lawyer to join our respected Construction Law team led by Phil Graham, recognised as a Leading Individual in the Legal 500.
This is a unique opportunity for a graduate, or soon to be graduate, to develop their legal career at a leading firm, working on complex and high-stakes construction litigation cases. You will gain hands-on experience and develop your skills within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
You will be working on large scale, high value projects throughout the UK involving a range of infrastructure projects, commercial developments, large scale residential and retail schemes. You will be dealing with developers, contractors, professionals and third sector organisations across the private and public sector. In doing so you will be working alongside a team with recognised leading individuals in their field and whose experience is second to none.
After successfully completing a six-month probation period as a paralegal, you will be offered a fully funded training contract via the SQE Specialist pathway. We partner with The College of Legal Practice, which provides all the learning materials and guidance to help you excel in your studies.
For candidates who have completed their Legal Practice Course, a 2 year training contract will be offered as an alternative to the SQE qualification route.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct Legal Research: Thoroughly investigate legal precedents and relevant case law.
* Prepare and Draft Legal Documents: Create and revise documents, agreements, and other legal paperwork.
* Case Management: Collaborate with team members and supervising partners to manage and progress case files.
* Document Management: Ensure all case files are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
* Attend Meetings: Participate in both internal and external meetings to discuss case progress and strategies.
* Maintain and Update Legal Documents: Regularly update standard templates and other legal documents to ensure they reflect current laws and best practices.
* Write Articles: Create insightful articles for both internal distribution and external publication.
* Organise Diaries and Schedule Meetings: Manage schedules, book meetings, and handle general inquiries efficiently.
