We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Global Strategic Project Manager to join our team. The successful individual will be responsible for the execution of global projects, delivering bottom line improvement, business process standardization/ and services continuous improvement. Responsibilities/Description: Lead and/or support short and long term cross-functional project teams, develop comprehensive project plans, and successful execution of projects from inception to completion:
* Inventory optimization execution. Collaborate with global planning to execute strategy.
* Manufacturing footprint simplification/optimization: reduce network complexity and optimize. Collaborate with RSC, Technical and Finance.
* CI & Productivity driving business margin improvement (simplification, rationalization, working cost revamp, MOQ, incoterms etc).
Stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including commercial, C&D, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, engineering, finance, and IT, to align project objectives with business priorities and ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project objectives and requirements.
Project risk and change management:
* Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies associated with project execution, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address challenges to ensure project success and minimize disruptions to the business.
* Lead change management efforts to drive organizational buy-in and adoption of new processes and best practices introduced through strategic projects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Collect, assemble and analyze data for the strategic projects. Develop project performance metrics and reporting:
* Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project progress, track performance against targets, and provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for optimization, standardization, and scalability across the Nourish operations, leveraging best practices. Manage and strengthen business information processes related to: E2E tool, production transfers, costs, production / inventory/planning and demand functions, links between SAP and creative systems, etc
* Prior experience in a chemical, cpg, or food & beverage company with progressive leadership experience in supply chain management within flavors and fragrances industries or related sectors.
* Strong analytical background and hands-on experience with SAP and data visualization experience
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to be effective in a multi-cultural environment across geographies, cultures and working styles.
* Ability to communicate to all levels of an organization including senior leaders
* Data-driven mindset; Capability of analysing/interpreting data to improve a process and build a business case to support decision making
* Self-starter with problem solving ability. Able to work independently, prioritize effectively and execute based on high level direction
* Financial acumen; ability to build a business case (DCF) and understand a P&L
Training / Certifications:
* Undergraduate degree with specialization or focus on Supply Chain, Finance or Business Management
* Supply chain professional certifications.
* Project Management Training
* 6 sigma green belt or black belt certification
