How you will Energise Our Team We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our growing Finance Department. This role will work alongside the existing Finance Assistant, Assistant Management Accountant and Management Accountant. We are looking for someone who is keen to develop their current experience and grow within the function. The day-to-day responsibilities will involve: Entering accounts payable invoices onto finance system for approval Reconciling supplier ledgers & company bank accounts Performing daily processes for recording customer payment transactions Posting payments and receipts to finance system Posting general ledger and intercompany journals Processing customer refunds Interpreting customer accounts on the Billing system Monitoring the accounts payable inbox, responding to queries, categorising emails into workflows Assisting colleagues from other teams with customer payment and billing queries Expense claim processing Assisting with month end processes and journals Involvement with financial audits The Spark we're Looking For At least 6 months of prior experience in a transactional finance position (desired) A minimum of GCSE Mathematics at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) Confident with Excel and Outlook Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines Self-starter with the ability to work on their own or as part of a team If you like the sound of this role, we encourage you to apply even if you aren’t confident that you meet all of the requirements – you may be just who we’re looking for.
