Executive Assistant, AWS, Global Deal Strategy and Programs
Amazon is seeking an Executive Assistant to support Directors within AWS Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP). This role requires attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple requests across global teams. The Executive Assistant will act as a seamless extension of the leaders and will work closely with other Executive Assistants throughout the organization.
The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, experienced planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility, composure, and confidentiality.
Role responsibilities include:
1. Managing multiple complex calendars across global time zones.
2. Managing and submitting expense reports.
3. Coordinating domestic and international travel.
4. Handling team offsites and meetings.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance, anticipate challenges, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the whole picture.
This position is based in-office 5 days/week.
Key job responsibilities:
1. Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities, and calendars.
2. Management of complex calendars, scheduling requirements, and prioritization of executive's tasks and appointments according to their importance, urgency, and relevance.
3. Act as a liaison for direct reports and business stakeholders.
4. Extensive travel coordination (international and domestic).
5. Participate in planning of events and drive key team activities (staff meetings, all-hands meetings, supply ordering).
6. Work alongside other executive assistants within the org and throughout AWS to drive best practices and cross collaboration of efficiencies.

Working in a highly ambiguous environment, you will complete tasks and projects quickly and with little to no guidance, and take effective action without having to know the total picture. You will apply a superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple critical requests while maintaining flexibility, a sense of humor, and most importantly, grace under pressure. You will understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs, and drive improvements to build capacity for the leaders and their teams. Over time, you will build deep and trusting professional relationships with the leaders and their teams, which will blossom into strong partnerships that provide opportunity for special projects with increased responsibility and long-term career growth.
Minimum Requirements:
1. 2+ years of senior level leadership support experience.
2. Experience with executive level calendar management.
3. Experience with domestic or international travel coordination.
4. Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company.
5. Experience managing multiple calendars.
6. Experience with end-to-end project management.
