Description
Summary: Performs complex assembly operations by assembling parts and subassemblies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Mechanical and technical skills
* Dexterity and hand-eye coordination
* Attention to detail
* Ability to read and follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms
* Working collaboratively with other members of the assembly line team
* Meeting production targets and deadlines
* Discern quality of parts and materials used in production
* Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process
* Follow company procedures and directives
* Test finished products for defects
* Maintain the tools used to create products
* Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace
* Basic computer skills to scan in and out of routers and printing required documentation
* Good communication skills
* Ability to be flexible and willingness to interdepartmental cross train as workload requires
* Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels
Education and Experience
* High School w/6+ years’ experience or AA/AS/Technical School w/3-6 years’ experience
Physical Demands and Abilities
* Able to lift up to 35 pounds
* Regularly perform repetitive tasks
* Able to stand for entire shift
* Regularly possesses manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
* Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
