THE COMPANY
This small, award winning integrated agency in London specialises in servicing the Financial Services sector. Clients range from insurance to asset management and their work covers pretty much every touchpoint, depending on clients requirements.
THE ROLE
Our client is looking to hire an Account Manager who has a real passion for marketing. The role involves managing clients and projects end-to-end, developing strong client relationships, collaborating with internal and external creative teams and identifying growth opportunities.
Day to day includes:
- Managing a portfolio of clients, being their main point of contact – this involves regular meetings, briefing calls, sending action reports and building a strong rapport with your clients.
- Developing a full understanding of your clients’ services to be able to add value to their marketing activity as their account manager, and grow their account.
- Overseeing the execution of your projects and collaborating with internal and external creative teams to deliver projects within timeframes.
- Monitoring campaign and project performance and keeping your senior management within the agency up to date with your clients and projects on a weekly basis.
- Discussing growth and new business opportunities with senior management within the agency on a monthly basis.
- Ensure time sheets and project management system is up to date every week.
YOU
To be successful in this Account Manager role you'll have proven account management experience from an agency setting, working on B2B clients, ideally in the Financial Services sector.
You'll be confident in overseeing end-to-end campaigns or projects, demonstrating strong organisation and project management skills with the ability to juggle lots of balls. You'll have clear communication skills and copywriting skills would be a big bonus.
Our client is a small team of 5, so it is important this person is a cultural fit. You'll be a people person who thrives on building long lasting relationships. You'll have the curiosity to research areas you are less strong in but equally put your pride to one side to ask for help where needed.
In return you'll work from a We Work office space in Waterloo on a hybrid basis. You'll receive generous holiday increasing with length of employment plus Christmas and New Year closure, as well as Benenden Healthcare, performance bonuses any time of year and clear progression and training.
