In this role you will contribute to ensuring that Northern Powergrid meets its regulatory and legislative obligations in an accurate, robust and timely way. Reporting directly to the Head of Regulatory Compliance, this role encompasses a wide array of critical tasks, from managing compliance databases and assurance processes to overseeing legal risk management and financial reporting. K ey Responsibilities Maintenance of the regulatory compliance database Operation of the quarterly regulatory compliance affirmation process Operation of the on-going regulatory data assurance process Management of the weekly sanctions reporting process Administration of the Competition Act and Anti-Bribery compliance processes and other compliance policies Legal department risk management Compilation of reports and board papers Supporting the corporate Signing and Sealing process Core Financial System administration, budgeting and financial reporting Essential Qualifications Qualified to degree level or equivalent An understanding of the regulatory environment in which Northern Powergrid operates Ability to work effectively across Northern Powergrid’s various teams Excellent organisational, analytical and time management skills Excellent written and spoken communication skills Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to research, digest, analyse and present material clearly and concisely A professional approach and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Excellent I.T. and administration skills Desirable Qualifications Legal or compliance qualification Experience of working in a regulatory and/or compliance environment Visit n orthernpowergrid.com/careers to find out more about this and other career opportunities.
