Our client, a respected regulatory body within the healthcare or professional services sector, is looking for an experienced Casework Manager to join their Fitness to Practise team on a 6-month temporary contract.
This is a great opportunity to step into a key role within a busy regulatory environment, supporting a team of case officers and ensuring investigations are progressed in a timely, fair, and efficient manner.
💥 As a Casework Manager, you will:
* Manage a varied portfolio of complex and high-risk fitness to practise cases
* Supervise, support and quality-assure the work of case officers and casework assistants
* Liaise with registrants, complainants, witnesses, legal providers and internal stakeholders
* Ensure timely progression of cases in line with internal procedures and statutory guidelines
* Draft clear and concise case summaries, reports and recommendations for panels and senior staff
* Identify risks, trends and improvements in casework processes
💥 What we’re looking for:
* Strong experience in regulatory case management or investigations
* Excellent knowledge of fitness to practise or similar professional conduct procedures
* Ability to lead, coach or supervise junior colleagues
* Strong written communication and decision-making skills
* Ability to prioritise competing tasks and manage deadlines under pressure
* Professional, empathetic and resilient approach when dealing with sensitive matters
