Job Summary
Anord Mardix, a Flex company, is a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world’s largest companies.
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Logistics Coordinator located in Kendal,Castle Mills, England.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator role will be part of an excellent design team, whose members are strong communicators, ambitious & innovative.
What a typical day looks like:
* Liaising with Production and Project Managers to determine collection and delivery days
* Creating delivery notes utilising the BAR bespoke software
* Booking correct size and type of vehicle with external hauliers for deliveries
* Liaising with Logistics Coordinator (Switchgear) to maximise use of own vehicles
* Weekly advising the Walton Summit warehouse of Finished Goods storage requirements
* Liaising with the warehouse(s) regarding timely resupply of raw materials
* Maintaining accurate Finished Goods location records
* Tasking the dedicated BAR driver
* Expediting PODs and maintaining statistics
* Completing tasks as directed by the Line Manager
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentational skills
* Ability to travel to site locations when requested
* Previous exposure to or experience with logistics sector would be preferable
* Eligibility to work in the UK
