Overview:
A tier one contractor is looking for Site Agents to join multiple locations across the UK. This contractor is set to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link.
Locations:
Buckingham (MK18 4DZ)
Greatworth (OX17 2EX)
Aylesbury (HP17 8NR)(You will be paid living allowance for those wishing to relocate to one of these sites)

Extensive experience with structures in a previous role
HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent
Mandatory CSCS Requirement (one of the following) - Black, White, White/Yellow, Yellow or Red Experienced
Mandatory SMSTS
Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills
Must have extensive experience of working on Structures
Good teamwork skills
You must hold a driving license and have access to a vehicle
Role Responsibilities: What is the day to day?
You will need to assist with the construction strategy, this includes kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, Construction programmes, procurement and design deliverable schedules.
You will be required to effectively communicate with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labor, equipment, materials, and temporary works necessary for completing activities to meet the required standards, schedule, and budget. Additionally, this role involves overseeing the site engineering team and managing the performance and development of Site and Section Engineers.
You will also help coordinate construction operations, ensuring compliance with contract requirements whilst also maintaining the necessary standards for safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ).
Your role will also support the creation of schedules, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting, site measurements, material reconciliations, and cost control.
