NET-A-PORTER are now seeking a talented Junior Projects Merchandiser to join the team. Some of the essentials for you to know are:

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:
1. Supporting the tech delivery roadmap and backlog for buying, merchandising and merchandising operations team-related projects
2. Identification, scoping and business-casing of new business requirements and innovation opportunities of both a tactical and strategic nature
3. Co-ordinating ‘super-user’ group forums; problem-solving, process simplification & standardisation and user-training (new and refresher)
4. Systems & Tooling authority: Planning, POM, PIM, Pricing, Restrictions, Replenishment, Reporting, Jira and Markdown
5. E2E Process mapping & maintenance, solutions design, UAT, user training and implementation
6. Maintenance of seasonal tooling input variables: FX-rates, Uplift Tables, Product Recode, MD dates etc.
7. Prioritisation, escalation and resolution of issues, bugs and defects with technology and data teams
8. Managing internal and third party (brand) data reporting integrity, alignment and usability
9. Business intelligence solutions development and data solutions integrity, runtime and performance
10. Optimisation of demand planning, forecasting and global replenishment in the YNAP omni channel model
11. Cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Trade & Transport, Upload, Commercial, Customer Care and Personal Shopping teams
12. Representing Buying & Merchandising team in an array of tech, ops and data forums
The type of person we are looking for:
1. Familiarity with digital fashion environment, product journey, data flows and tooling
2. Experience in identifying, analysing and solving complex business problems using data, qualitative feedback and benchmarks
3. Big-data proficiency: retail mathematics and reporting attributes/dimensions
4. Full-spectrum focus; granular to big-picture / quick-wins to strategic
5. Advanced Excel experience and relevant systems expertise at super-user level
6. Dedication to delivery of complex parallel projects and initiatives within deadline
7. Customer-centric / service-driven approach to business users and project dependants
8. Collaborative relationship management with multiple support partners – internal and 3rd Party
9. Risk assessment, management and mitigation
10. Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills
11. Rigour, resilience and focus in a disruptive environment of unprecedented change and innovation
12. Graduate with minimum 3 years appropriate experience
