About the role:
Working within the newly created Transformation team, this role will have a primary responsibility for driving the delivery of a new digital Waste Management System, through build, test and business change, ensuring a smooth transition to new ways of working. The post holder will then become the Product Owner for the system, leading on continuous improvement activities for the service.
As part of the Transformation team the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to help Gedling Borough Council improve the efficiency in the way we work along with the digital offerings for its customers as part of our Digital, Data and Technology strategy.
Working closely with our business analyst team and wider transformation colleagues this role will help us deliver on our digital and change aspirations.

About you:
We are looking for someone with a passion for enabling better services through new ways of working, utilising the effective implementation of new technology or by maximising existing technology. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate previous success in the configuration and delivery of a Waste Management System to benefit both the organisation and its customers. You will need to be comfortable working as a project lead, have excellent communication skills and be able to analyse and interpret service data.
