Job Title: Bill of Materials Analyst
Salary: £38,832 + (depending on experience)
Location: Shrewsbury

Role Definition
Ensures that all material requirements for assigned products are satisfied within the allocated time frame.
Responsibilities
• Coordinating with production support staff to close out bill of materials for customer requirements. Serving as focal point for identifying and resolving material issues.
• Reviewing and acting on material release. Developing and maintaining bill of materials and associated data.
• Preparing bills of material; ensuring timely delivery of component materials needed to support production requirements.
• Verifying customer requirements; coordinating material acquisitions and shipments to assure availability for the manufacturing process.
• Managing the manufacturing element of the Engineering change process, ensuring compliance across the department.
Degree Requirement
Degree or equivalent experience desired
Skills and Experience:
Candidates will have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles:
* Standard technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 (Apprenticeship relevant to the role)
* Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent Certification
* Demonstrate planning, organising skills, adaptability, and flexibility
* Team player resilience with customer focus efforts
* Experience as a skilled person within engine assembly
* Knowledge of BoM and material planning within QAD EE ERP system
Candidates may have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles:
* Familiarity of production and manufacturing routings
* MRP experience
* Experience of new product introduction
