The Role
B&FC are welcoming applications for 3 part-time Community Learning Tutors. This role is fixed-term until July.
Through the delivery of a range of non-accredited sessions within community venues across the Fylde Coast, you will be supporting adults to make the first steps to improve their life chances, return to education and employment, and get involved in their local community. A range of specialisms are needed across the 3 posts as the delivery will include basic life skills, building confidence, resilience, and creating positive relationships, employability skills, supporting children's learning, and supporting wellbeing through creative avenues. The ideal candidate will possess some combination of these skills and have experience working with adults in a community role. We are particularly interested in applications from those with a children and families background, and/or with a broad range of creative skills. The ability to sign is also an advantage but not essential. A driving license, daily access to a vehicle, and a willingness to occasionally drive the College marketing vehicle are all essential to this role.
For more information about the role, please contact the Adult Learning Manager to request an informal pre-application discussion.
