As a Registered Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Developing Comprehensive Care Plans for each young person.
2. Building a great team and ensuring a strong team dynamic.
3. Fostering Consultation with young people about the care they receive.
4. Allocating Key Workers to implement care plans.
5. Maintaining High Standards of care in line with quality standards.
6. Handling Complaints and Concerns responsibly.
7. Collaborating with Stakeholders to promote the welfare of young people.
8. Participating in Meetings related to care planning and reviews.
9. Embracing a safe culture for children in your service.
10. Effective Commercial Management of your home.
Essential Requirements and Experience
1. Passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people in care.
2. Relevant Experience: At least 2 years in a position related to residential care of children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
3. Qualifications: Level 3 in Children's Residential Care is essential; Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is preferred.
4. Knowledge: Understanding of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
5. Skills: Efficient in planning, organizing, budget control, resource allocation, and team leadership.
6. Communication: Confidence in effective spoken and written communication.
7. Understanding Trauma: Knowledge of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties.
8. Driving License: Full UK required.
