The E-Commerce Warehouse Operative is responsible for ensuring that the company's online orders are efficiently and accurately processed, from picking and packing to shipping. They will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, handling the logistics of order fulfillment, stock management, and ensuring that products are dispatched on time to meet customer expectations. Weekend Shifts: Saturday 8am to 4pm Sunday 8am to 4pm About You Key Responsibilities: Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently according to order specifications. Prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling for delivery. Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies. Stock Management: Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods, ensuring that stock is correctly stored and organized. Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy. Assist in maintaining an organized and clean warehouse environment. Dispatch and Shipping: Prepare shipping labels and dispatch orders using the company’s courier systems. Ensure all orders are dispatched on time, meeting the required delivery schedules. Liaise with couriers to resolve any shipping issues or delays. Warehouse Operations: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trolleys (if required). Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with general warehouse duties, including housekeeping, organizing inventory, and stock replenishment. Data Entry and Reporting: Accurately record stock levels and transactions using warehouse management systems (WMS) or other software. Report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages to the warehouse manager. Key Skills and Qualifications: Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role, preferably in an e-commerce environment. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Good physical fitness, as the role involves lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods. Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting. Forklift certification (preferred but not essential). Personal Attributes: Team player with good communication skills.
