My client, a leading Not-for-profit organisation in Oxfordshire, is currently recruiting for a finance professional to join them as an Assistant Finance Manager on a 9-12 month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the daily finance functions including management accounts and overseeing the transactional AP team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the processes for the Accounts Payable functions including expenses, direct debits, and standing orders.
2. Line management of the AP Team Leader and Assistant Accountant.
3. Monthly bank reconciliations.
4. Quarterly VAT returns.
5. Coordination and production of the annual budget and forecasts for the property department whilst working closely with the senior management.
6. Processing all month-end functions to finalise management accounts.
7. Adhoc duties where necessary.
Previous experience within a Management Accountant or Assistant Finance Manager role is essential for this position.
Part-qualified, Qualified, or QBE candidates will all be considered for this position.
You must be able to start mid-January/early February and be able to commit to a minimum of 9 months. The client is open to both full-time (35 hours) and part-time (28 hours) as well as offering flexible hybrid working.
