Stirling Inclusion Support Service is a specialist service that works closely with schools, partners, and families to improve outcomes for children and young people who present with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. The Service consists of a multi-disciplinary team that provides outreach support to schools and has three bases that offer a more intensive level of support for a small number of children and young people who require this. The Service promotes the importance of positive relationships and a trauma-informed, rights-based approach, providing a nurturing and inspiring learning environment where children and young people can develop confidence, make informed decisions, and achieve their full potential. We are looking to appoint a Support for Learning Assistant who is passionate about inclusion and equity to work with our children and young people. The successful applicant will support and inspire our learners to achieve the best possible outcomes.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
* Experience or a strong interest in working with children and young people with additional support needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Commitment to promoting inclusion and equity.
