Key Responsibilities: Deliver PPA cover for teachers across various year groups, ensuring high-quality lessons are taught in line with the school's curriculum. Support teachers in planning and preparing lessons, including differentiated activities for pupils with diverse needs. Provide individual or small group support to students, focusing on those who need additional help to reach their full potential. Assist with classroom management, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment. Monitor and track student progress, reporting back to the class teacher and senior leadership team. Support students with special educational needs (SEN) in accordance with their individual learning plans. Assist with the delivery of extracurricular activities and school events. Work collaboratively with other staff members to develop and implement effective teaching strategies. The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting, with HLTA status or equivalent qualification (Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or above). Strong understanding of primary education and the national curriculum. Experience providing PPA cover and leading lessons across various year groups. Ability to adapt quickly to different teaching situations and year groups. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passionate about working with children and making a positive difference to their learning and development. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
