About the Role This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an electrician with commercial experience to transition into the renewable energy industry. Full in-house training on solar PV and battery storage systems will be provided, with opportunities for career progression. Key Responsibilities Installation, maintenance, and commissioning of commercial solar PV, battery storage, and associated electrical systems. Work with LV AC and DC supplies, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Install cable tray, trunking, SWA, and CAT5e cables to the required specifications. Conduct testing and inspection, ensuring systems meet regulatory and safety standards. Work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality installations. Follow health & safety protocols and best practices on-site. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues during installations. Essential Qualifications & Experience Level 3 Electrical Qualification (or equivalent). BS7671 18th Edition certification. Experience in cable management (tray, trunking, SWA, CAT5e cables). Knowledge of LV AC and DC electrical systems. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team or independently. Excellent organisational and planning abilities. Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK. Desirable Qualifications & Experience Testing & Inspection certification (e.g., 2391/2392/2394/2395). Experience working in the renewable energy sector (solar PV, battery storage, or EV charging advantageous). Familiarity with grid connection requirements and electrical regulations.
