Operations Manager
Department: Operations
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: United Kingdom
Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer
Compensation: £50,000 - £65,000 / year
Description
We’re a high-growth HR tech start-up building and selling software that helps in-house recruitment teams attract, hire, and onboard the right talent. Today, we have a strong foundation in place, with a mature product, solid product-market fit, and happy customers.
We’re scaling fast, and our operations team is at the heart of making that growth possible. We’ve built solid operational foundations, but as we expand, legal and compliance demands are increasing. We need an Operations Manager who can own critical processes and take ownership of growing legal and compliance demands.
The fine print (but way more exciting):
* This is a remote UK-based role with occasional travel for team off-sites.
* This is a hands-on role. You’ll own legal and compliance processes while improving operational efficiency across the business.
* We move fast. You’ll need to be pragmatic, balancing compliance with commercial agility in a high-growth startup.
* You’ll help build. The processes you create today will set the foundation for Pinpoint’s future.
* Our values shape who we are and how we work. We're excited to meet candidates who share these principles and will bring these values to life in their work.
About the Role

* Manage internal and external policies, including Privacy Policies, Acceptable Usage, and employee data protection
* Oversee share options, insurance policies, trademarks, and premises agreements

Company Strategy & Administration (25%)
* Align operations with strategic goals and improve reporting (e.g., board packs, compliance updates)
* Automate and streamline processes to enhance efficiency and scalability
* Improve internal communication, reduce friction, and keep the business running smoothly
People (15%)
* Manage the relationship with Deel and oversee employment contracts
* Ensure compliance with employment policies while helping scale the people function
* Note: In year one, you’ll focus slightly more on people ops to cover for a team member on parental leave
About You
* 3+ years of experience in legal, compliance, or operations ideally in B2B SaaS
* Proven experience reviewing vendor agreements, commercial contracts, NDAs, and compliance policies
* Hands-on GDPR/data protection experience (ISO27001/SOC2)

* Self-motivated and proactive—you take ownership and drive improvements without waiting for permission
* Strong collaborator, especially in supporting Sales with contract negotiations and compliance queries
